Why partial sheets jam laser printers
1 / 2When you print 8 labels on a 30-up Avery 5160 sheet and peel them off, sellers often try to feed the remaining 22-sticker sheet back through a laser printer on the next shipment.
Because laser fusers heat the sheet to ~200 °C (390 °F) under high roller pressure, exposed adhesive around peeled cavities oozes onto the fuser drum, and loose sticker corners peel off inside the paper path. Printing all SKUs in one combined pass eliminates re-feeding partial sheets.
Combining multiple SKUs onto one PDF
2 / 2You do not need Excel mail merge or a CSV file to combine a handful of products onto one sheet:
- Open the Amazon FNSKU Maker or UPC-A Generator and switch to 'Labels to print PDF (30-up sheet)'.
- Enter your first X00 code, product title, and quantity (for example, Qty 10).
- Click '+ Add another item' right below the form to add a second row (for example, Qty 12) and a third row (Qty 8).
- The live sheet proof immediately lays out all 30 cells in sequence across page 1—ready to export as a single 100% scale PDF.
| Shipment scenario | Seller Central output | UPCLabelMaker multi-SKU output |
|---|---|---|
| 3 SKUs × 10 units each (30 total) | 3 separate pages (60 stickers wasted) | 1 full Avery 5160 page (0 wasted) |
| 5 SKUs × 6 units each (30 total) | 5 separate pages (120 stickers wasted) | 1 full Avery 5160 page (0 wasted) |
| 12 SKUs, 145 units total | 12 separate PDF files | 1 combined 5-page PDF in SKU order |
Questions
Can I also paste or upload a CSV of 100+ SKUs?
Yes. If you have a large replenishment shipment, click 'Or upload CSV / paste list' to upload a spreadsheet with code, title, and quantity columns.
Does every row get its check digit verified before printing?
Yes. On UPC-A, EAN-13, and GS1 DataMatrix sheets, every row's Modulo-10 check digit is verified and auto-repaired if needed; on FNSKU sheets, every code is checked against Amazon's 10-character X00 / B0 format.
